Consistent quality, reliable

This is probably my fourth or fifth time buying from Laurelsavon. I always come back for their 50% Laurel Soap, and this order was just as good as the first. Good quality, slow shipping

I ordered the 25% Laurel Aleppo Soap and a Traditional Aleppo Soap Bar. The ordering process on the website was straightforward. They say on the website it's authentic Aleppo soap imported from Syria. I've used other 'Aleppo style' soaps before and these definitely feel different, in a good way.

i'm worried about fake aleppo soap. how can i tell this brand is legit and not just some generic bar rebranded?

That's a fair concern. Real Aleppo soap has a distinct smell and feel, and usually a greenish-brown outer layer with a darker interior. Laurel Savon's description mentions it's imported directly from Syria and handmade, which is a good sign. The ingredients are simple too, just olive and laurel oil.

is laurel savon a good option compared to kama ayurveda or forest essentials? looking for something really natural for my body wash.

Totally different vibe. Kama and Forest Essentials are more about a wider range of ayurvedic products and fragrances. Laurel Savon is super specific to traditional Aleppo soap, so it's much simpler ingredients, just the laurel and olive oil. If you want truly minimal and natural, Laurel Savon is probably better for a basic soap.

I use both, honestly. For just a pure, no-frills, super natural cleansing bar, Laurel Savon wins. For fancy smells and more complex formulations, the other two are great. Depends what you're after.

hey, trying to figure out which laurel percentage to get. is there a big difference between the 25% and 50% for like, sensitive skin?

Yeah, definitely a difference. The higher the laurel oil, the more intense it is, usually. For sensitive skin, I'd probably start with the 25% first to see how you react. The 50% is really rich.

I use the 25% for my face, and it's perfect. My sister has really reactive skin and she tried the 50% once and it was a bit much for her. So yeah, lower is probably safer to start.
